A beautiful hike north east of Mt. Snæfell. The hike goes between Nálhúshnjúka, Sandfell and Vatnkollur. On the way there is a small lake, formed by the river flowing through the area. The path is marked and it is very important to followed the trails and not walk out side of them to protect the fragile environment around the hike.

The hike is 5.2km long and requires moderate technical skills and stamina.
