Snæfellsskáli lodge, located by the west side of Mt. Snæfell (F909) has space for 45 persons and camping site. The lodge is a station for park rangers who give information about the area. They also lead daily hikes in the evening in high season. Close to the lodge is the hiking trail to the top of Mt. Snæfell and other shorter marked routes for day hiking. Only open in the summer.
